My trusty first generation flat panel iMac g4 is starting to show her age. She’s coming up on 5 years of nearly continuous operation and for the first time I’m seeing that she is starting to show age (beyond the fact that 800 mhz feels as slow as molasses). The issue is that she will not recognize my external hard drives. Affectionately called Big Brother & Big Sister, they house my maps, source imagery, projection templates, and, gasp, my mp3s. I am going to buy a new computer soon so that I can continue my mapping activities…. hold tight
