My friend just put up the interviews on YouTube that I filmed while in Denver, I figured today was the best day to post these.
My interest in Alex Jones was first piqued in January of 2001 (pre-9/11) when I saw his cameo in Richard Linklater‘s innovative film Waking Life:

After 9/11 I began to see more of his work on the internet and a couple years ago Jones made another cameo in Linklater’s follow-up film A Scanner Darly, which is based on the novel by Phillp K. Dick:
On Wednesday August 27, 2008, at Ralph Nader’s “Open the Debates” Rally my friend Liz Glover interviewed Alex Jones and I held the camera for the interview:
So why post interviews with Mr. Jones on 9/11? Well for those who don’t know, he’s considered the godfather of the 9/11 Truth Movement. “Truthers” as they are called are an international group of activists trying to get the real truth behind what happened on 9/11/01. While I am not a vocal member of the movement, I agree with their aim and have found their methods used to uncover the “truth” to be entertaining and commendable.
For example, the two video clips below are excellent examples of guerrilla information warfare, where the Truthers took advantage of the fact that MSNBC was broadcasting live and usurped the spotlight by chanting “9/11 was an inside job!” ad nauseum, while showing various banners related to 9/11 in the background. You can clearly hear Alex Jones’ voice on the megaphone and see & hear that MSNBC got hosed by a concise message. In the other video below, which was filmed from the other side of the free speech fence, you see some of the antics that took place while the demonstration was happening.
Or another take on the demo….
Today Cynthia McKinney, the Green Party‘s Presidential Candidate, who’s campaign website comes directly from the 9/11 Truth Movement’s naming ethos www.VoteTruth08.com, gave a speech in New York City in support of a ballot initiative that will create an independent investigation regarding 9/11:
