Made a newsicvideo video documenting a march for affirmative action. I used Codec & Flexor’s tune “Time Has Changed” to show the inherent difference between Martin Luther King’s civil rights speech at the Lincoln Memorial, and today’s rally for affirmative action.

This is my first newsicvideo :) I made it to document the Washington, DC reaction to the illegal invasion of Iraq. All the footage is from Saturday March 22nd, the first weekend after we began our invasion. I used my Canon s200 digital elph’s 12 second recording ability to record about 60 clips, then spliced them together, added transitions (ad nauseum), and finally added DJ Shadow’s track “You can’t go home again.” This is one of my favorite historical creations.
