I also proposed a collaborative workshop that would involve taking antique maps of Spain and overlaying them in Google Earth.  I think it would be a fun project to see how much Madrid has changed in the last 100 years; much like finding <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nikolasschiller.com\/blog\/index.php\/archives\/2008\/01\/06\/1235\/\">oil in Los Angeles<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nikolasschiller.com\/blog\/index.php\/archives\/2007\/12\/09\/1207\/\">hookers in DC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I chose <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nikolasschiller.com\/blog\/index.php\/archives\/2007\/03\/20\/984\/\">Interactive Inequality #3<\/a> because I think it will be fun to explain the concept of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nikolasschiller.com\/blog\/index.php\/archives\/category\/activism\/colonist\/\">disenfranchisement<\/a> and that it contains over 50,000 viewing combinations.  Click.<\/p>\n<p>####<br \/>\nUpdate 2\/8\/08<\/p>\n<p>My proposal was not accepted.  I kinda know why.  My proposal was pretty slapdash.
