Using this portion<\/a> of Vassar Quilt #2<\/a>, I made this derivative map<\/a> of Vassar College<\/a> using added elements from the Lenz projection<\/a>. The optics create a very unique sense of depth at the center of the map. I also added four other optical elements that create a fluvial<\/a> design, almost appearing to flow toward the center. <\/p>\n
