I have<br \/>\nthe robots.txt file setup so that google does not traverse my website.<br \/>\nHowever, on the day that this entry was posted, a staff member from Google<br \/>\nin California visited my website (I have the logs to prove this) and now<br \/>\nthat entry is listed. This violates my robots.txt request and I find it<br \/>\nin bad taste for Google to promote itself in such a way. Please remove<br \/>\nthe URL listed above from your database.<\/p>\n<p>Sincerely,<br \/>\nNikolas Schiller\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Grrrrrr&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>I know it&#8217;s futile to try to prevent my information from getting outside of the electronic berlin wall I&#8217;ve setup around my website, but it&#8217;s still annoying to have the most valuable corporate entity on the planet violate their own rules!<\/p>\n<p>I look forward to their reply.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just wrote this e-mail to Google: Google Earth is here!
