I first learned of William Frederick &#8220;Buffalo Bill&#8221; Cody when I was a child as we drove through the town he founded, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Buffalo_Bill#Life_in_Cody.2C_Wyoming\">Cody, Wyoming<\/a>, while en route to Yellowstone National Park.
