It went awesome&#8230;.  I wish the pay raise was a bit more (it sounds like a lot, but when the starting salary was low, 14% still isn&#8217;t much!), but a raise is a raise and I am excited that I&#8217;ll have some more income to spend on the printing of my maps.  <\/p>\n<p>I came into the review meeting with two documents:  a comprehensive listing of all the activities I worked on from December 2004 to November 2005 and the other a listing of what I&#8217;d like to do in 2006.  I compiled the listing of my work activities by trolling through all my e-mails and this next year I am going to need to keep an ongoing listing so I don&#8217;t have to spend the time looking through so many e-mails!  I think the 2006 goals impressed my boss because he recognized my future focus and shares my vision to some extent.  Walking out of the meeting I genuinely realized that my boss values my presence at the organization and that alone makes the 14% seem all the more special  :)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>That is the pay raise I received&#8230;14% Today I had my 1 year review at work.
